Midland Tyre Services continue to closely monitor the Covid-19 situation and all Government, NPHET, and relevant health advice.
Since the Government announced that there were likely to be shutdowns and designated certain services as “Essential Services”, Midland Tyre Services has worked closely with its suppliers, customers and relevant authorities to ensure that we have all best practice in place.
Across our company we are following WHO and HSE guidelines to encourage social distancing and increase cleanliness in our workplaces. We have issued guidelines to staff on the precautionary measures, they should take to protect them and their colleagues from the Corona virus, including guidelines on hygiene, other protective measures, and health & safety procedures for all visitors. We have also implemented travel restrictions and introduced staggered working times.
As part of this process staff members have remote access, if necessary, to the Company email and central databases so as to continue to supply your business needs without any interruption. Of course, this will be kept under review in light of any future constraints introduced by Government.
- In light of the Government announcement at the end of December of the application Level 5 Restrictions – please see that announcement by clicking HERE — it is obligatory to have protective mask during any visit to the company’s various premises.
We realise this is an ongoing and developing situation and we will continue to update our practices in light of further information or guidelines. We also wish to assure all of our customers that we intend to remain fully operational and are able to facilitate your tyre needs and breakdown requirements.
